Detailed Overview

Here’s all you need to know about the ProOpinion platform:

What is ProOpinion?

ProOpinion is an online survey site that pays people for their opinions. ProOpinion is different from other survey platforms because it provides various resources for business professionals and as well pays you for answering surveys.

You won’t just stick to online surveys when you become a member of ProOpinion. You will also get insightful articles about industry experts on how to improve your business.

ProOpinion will allow you to learn from professionals and provide a platform where you can as well share your ideas.

The number of surveys you get could vary from 3-4 a week or 3-4 a month. There are some months you will get more surveys than others so, it all depends on your demographic and the number of companies partnering with ProOpinion.

On average you could get surveys that will take about 15 minutes for you to complete. Some surveys may be longer while some are shorter it all depends.

For you to have an idea of how ProOpinion works, let’s dive in deeper and take a look at the earning opportunities ProOpinion has to offer and how you can earn rewards.

Paid surveys

Just like other survey platforms, expect ProOpinion to offer paid surveys also. Most of their earning opportunities come from paid surveys. Once your registration is complete and you become a member, all you need to do thereafter is log in to the website then see all the available surveys on offer.

After viewing the surveys, the next thing you should do is to click on the ‘Take a Survey’ button. After you have clicked on the button you will be redirected to another page to answer some pre-qualifying questions.

You must answer all these pre-qualifying questions because it helps ProOpinion know if you qualify for the survey or not. They do this to be sure that your demographic is in line with where the survey is targeting.

Upon completion of the prequalifying surveys, you will be notified if you have qualified or not. If you are qualified you will know the amount of time it’s going to take for completing the survey and the reward you are going to earn. When you decide to take the survey, click on ‘Take the Survey’ where you will be redirected to the actual page of the survey.

After completing the survey, you will be rewarded as promised and the adequate amount will automatically appear in your account balance.

However, unlike some other survey sites that reward you for answering prequalifying questions if you don’t qualify. ProOpinion won’t pay you if you don’t qualify for the survey which doesn’t appeal to me one bit.

Although, we all know that it is not uncommon not to qualify for surveys.

Prize draws

Another way to earn with ProOpinion is via prize draws.

They don’t provide much information about this on their website but according to what I have heard, you stand to earn $1,000 if you are a winner.

When you log in to your member dashboard, you won’t see where prize draws are but I presume when they are available, it will pop up.

You can only qualify for ProOpinion prize draws if you are a resident of the United States and you must be 18 years or older to participate.

However, this earning opportunity is quite rare so don’t bank on it as a major earning opportunity. You will even be lucky if you win one in a year. Don’t forget I said earlier that they are rare, so I can’t say how often you will get these opportunities.

Referral program

Do you know that getting referrals for paid surveys can help you accumulate more money?

You can also earn money with ProOpinion through its referral program. When you refer your friends to ProOpinion you stand the chance of earning a reward.

However, the issue with ProOpinion is that they didn’t state on their website the reward you stand to gain when you refer someone to join their platform.

In my opinion, I believe if I am referring someone I should know what I stand to gain from it. This is a bad way to present the opportunities a site has to offer.

How do you get paid with ProOpinion?

Now that you know how to earn with ProOpinion, let’s talk about the most important part of doing paid surveys which is about getting paid.

ProOpinion pays you in several ways. ProOpinion uses a point system as a method of rewarding its members. You will get points for each survey you complete.

With ProOpinion, you must reach the threshold of 1000 points which is $10 for you to be able to withdraw your rewards. You can cash out your earnings via:

  • PayPal
  • Gift cards
  • Donation to a charity of your choice

ProOpinion has a partnership with the American Red Cross if you want to give out your earnings to the community instead.

How much money can you make with ProOpinion?

The amount of money you can make with ProOpinion depends on the number of survey invitations you get and the number of surveys you qualify for.

Based on my experience, there will also be surveys available but you won’t get to qualify for them all. Some members have even complained that even when you qualify for a survey and you are in the middle of the survey you suddenly get disqualified.

My only answer to this situation is that they have already gotten to the number of respondents they needed for the survey. Therefore, try to complete the surveys as soon as you get them.

Finally, you need to have at least 1,000 points which is equivalent to $10 for you to be able to withdraw your earnings. You won’t be able to cash out if your balance isn’t up to 1000 points.

Can you use ProOpinion on mobile?

There is no mention of a mobile app you can download and install on their website but I can tell you that the website is optimized for mobile use.

This means that you can browse and answer surveys on the website easily without disruptions. You can use a web browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome to navigate the website with ease without needing to zoom in or out.

Who can join ProOpinion?

You can only join ProOpinion if you live in the United States and you are 18 years or older. You can sign up using either your email address, Facebook account, or your LinkedIn account.

After clicking on the ‘Join Now’ button, you will be redirected to a new page where you will fill out a form.

When filling this form, make sure you are as honest as possible because this form will determine how often you will receive survey invites.

You will be asked questions like your employment status, your salary, your education level, and other relevant questions.

After you have created your account, all you need to do is log in to the site and pick any survey that appeals to you.

Cons

What are the disadvantages of joining ProOpinion?

1. Low rewards per survey completed

With competition to take surveys being so high, ProOpinion survey site is one of the sites I would recommend avoiding. They offer some of the lowest payouts in the industry.

2. Limited to US residents

Another disadvantage of ProOpinion surveys is that they are only available to US residents. So if you happen to be outside the US, you won’t be able to access their surveys and won’t get paid for them either.

3. Limited earning opportunities

If you want to earn a decent side income with ProOpinion, you will need to put in some extra effort because it offers limited earning opportunities. Most survey panels limit how much you can make per month.
